We are having a great day. Ask your child about these events:
-Calories & healthy snacks
-Smokey Joe (awesome visuals that would make anyone want to quit smoking or never start)
-Yoga
-Cough Hygiene
-Track & Field
These were just some of the events.
I asked the children to bring in any poetry books they have, after vacation, for the class to use until the end of April. No worries if you don't have any. Just a reminder that PARCC testing starts the Tuesday after vacation. We've been practicing in math and reading. I have been referring to the test as the days we "go for a fun walk in the PARCC". We have practiced test taking strategies too. All the teachers keep stressing that you just do the best you can and try to stay focused. It's nothing to worry about!!
