My Career: I graduated from Providence College in 2001 with degrees in both elementary and special education. I have taught in South Kingstown since January of 2002. I began my career teaching special education at Wakefield Elementary, then at South Road School, and for the past 9 years I have been fortunate enough to teach here at West Kingston. This will be my 5th year teaching third grade.
My Family: My husband and I live in Narragansett and have three young children. My son, Christian is 8 years old and will be in third grade in the fall. Kylie, my 5 years old daughter, is going into Kindergarten. And we have a baby girl, Emersyn (Emmy) who turned 1 in June.
My Life as a Third Grade Teacher: I have taught Third Grade for the past 4 years here at West Kingston. I love third grade because students of this age enjoy learning and are so insightful. They have so much to contribute to their learning, from their experiences to their knowledge. I am so exicted for this coming year! I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families as we work together for a successful third grade year!
