West Kingston Elementary School exists to treasure each child. Hand in hand, all those in our community will honor and respect a love of KNOWLEDGE and provide an atmosphere of excellence, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Our School Improvement Team is a team of teachers, parents, and the principal. The SIT is charged with planning school improvement efforts. The SIT looks at data trends in Reading, Math, Writing and Science and plans professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. The SIT hosts one evening event per year to explain our yearly goals and how we are doing with these goals. The documents we present on the website are 'works in progress' because our work here at school is continually based on improvement and is ever-changing.
